Nurse Practitioner

-A Nurse Practitioner is sub-categorized by APRNs and require an amount of things. The occupation requires a registered nursing license (RN), a Master's Degree from an accredited program with classroom and clinical experience, and many skills such as having compassion, communication skills, and critical-thinking skills. This occupation’s median pay from 2016 is nearly $105,000/year. The shifts can range from 8 to 24 hrs long and there are usually 3-4 shifts per week but more than likely there will be more than 3. I am interested in this field of career because I've sorta always wanted to be in the medical field to help others

 

Geoscientist/Geologist

-This field of occupation is my more fun option of career because I enjoy the outdoors and nature and having a job with that would be cool. Being a Geo-scientist requires a Bachelor's Degree with courses of Math and Science behind your belt. Some states require a licence to practice the work and nearly half of the jobs are government jobs. The median level of pay is $89,780/year as of 2015. They're shifts are usually 9 hours and start a little later in the morning.

 

Engineer

-Environmental Engineering looks interesting to me and has interest me for years because of how much of an impact you can have in the world. Some qualities and skills required of this occupation are: at least a Bachelor's Degree, specific courses taken in High School, many skills including communication skills, Imagination, Reading and Writing skills, and Interpersonal Skills. The median pay for this career is nearly $85k/year and has the normal shifts and hours as any other job to the exception of certain projects that require different times of work.
